Virus Characteristics

This is a macro virus that does nothing but infect other Word documents and templates when a document is opened (Document_Open), closed (Document_Close) or created (Document_New).

When an infected document is opened or closed, this macro virus first checks for its signature inside the global template (i.e., second line). If this signature doesn't exist, the virus deletes all the macro codes in the ThisDocument module and then writes its own. Once the template is infected, any Word document opened, closed, or created will be infected.
